Evidence Backs Pre-ice Age Existence Of Advanced Civilizations And Kingdoms

The conventional view of human history assumes that the first civilizations and kingdoms emerged after the end of the last ice age, around 10,000 BCE. However, a growing body of evidence suggests that there were advanced cultures and societies that flourished long before that, during the Pleistocene epoch, which lasted from 2.6 million to about 11,700 years ago.

These pre-ice age civilizations may have been as sophisticated as or even more advanced than some of the post-ice age ones that we are familiar with. In this article, we will examine some of the key pieces of evidence that support this intriguing hypothesis.

The concept of pre-ice age civilizations is not new, but it has gained more attention and credibility in recent years thanks to advances in archaeological, geological, and paleontological research. One of the pioneers of this idea was the Swiss writer and explorer Erich von Däniken, who in his bestselling book “Chariots of the Gods?” (1968) argued that many ancient monuments and artifacts around the world could only be explained by the intervention of extraterrestrial beings or a lost civilization with advanced technology.

While von Däniken’s theories have been widely criticized and debunked, they have also inspired a generation of researchers to re-examine the evidence and look for alternative explanations. One of the main challenges in studying pre-ice age civilizations is the lack of direct or tangible evidence, as most of their structures, tools, and artworks would have been destroyed or buried by natural processes such as erosion, glaciation, or sea level changes.

Therefore, researchers have to rely on indirect or circumstantial evidence, such as myths, legends, oral traditions, and anomalous artifacts or features. While such evidence is often subject to interpretation and speculation, it can also provide valuable clues and insights into the possible existence and characteristics of pre-ice age civilizations. One of the most intriguing pieces of evidence for pre-ice age civilizations is the phenomenon of megalithic structures, which are large and complex stone constructions found in various parts of the world, from Europe to Asia to the Americas. Some of the most famous examples include Stonehenge in England, the pyramids of Egypt, the Moai statues of Easter Island, and the dolmens and menhirs of France and Spain.
