Dozens US F-22 Raptors Based at Ask Air Base in Poland, Enemy Base Unsafe

F-22 Raptors To Fly Out Of Poland.

Poland wants to ensure a continued US military presence in its country. The need is clear as Russiα is carrying out its brutal campaign against Ukrαine.

There is perhaps no better way to profit from US military might than to let some of America’s finest warplanes fly out of Poland.

The F-35 Lightning II has been conducting NATO policing missions for the past three months.

Now 12 US Air Force F-22 Raptors will join the action. The Raptors are from the 90th Combat Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and they will be patrolling one of the most advanced and dangerous areas in the world.

Fighters to Protect and Protect

NATO policing missions are carried out every day, around the clock, to keep the alliance skies safe.

Their operation was peaceful and defensive, but all pilots knew the stakes were high when it came to dealing with the Russiαns.

The F-22 would thus have a very important and even dangerous job. Their mission was an airborne rapid response mission to deal with any Russiαn aircraft that might sneak into the Polish air defense identification zone.

The Raptors will fly out of the 32nd Tactical Air Base in ask, Poland to step up protection efforts for NATO. General James Hecker, head of the US Air Force Europe-Africa Air Force, said in a news release that securing the alliance’s eastern edge was part of an important mission to protect Poland and other alliance members.

“This deployment of the F-22 will add significant capabilities to support NATO collective defense,” Hecker said. “The ability of the Raptors to carry out air-to-air and air-to-ground missions will exponentially increase wαr capability along the eastern flank as this rotation supports NATO Air Shield.”

More US Military Burden in Poland

The United States has also sent an additional 1,700 troops to Poland, bringing its total troops in the country to about 10,000, according to the Notes From Poland website.

Two Patriot missile shields and an assortment of US F-16 complement the American contribution to the defense of Poland.

There are good reasons for such a strong US presence. Poland is key to NATO eastern wing, and the US military is making important and strategic decisions to maintain a permanent presence in the country.

There is strength in numbers when it comes to dealing with Russiα, and NATO has not seen a deployment like this since the Cold wαr.

This should frustrate Putin—the Russiαn president has long accused the alliance of violating Moscow sovereignty. The strength of the US presence in Poland will continue to emerge.
